Code Of Conduct
THE NORMS OF MY SCHOOL
• Each student should carry the Almanac to school with her/his photograph and identification information complete and signed by the parents.
• Students who come to school on their own should arrive at school 10 minutes before the bell rings.In case of delay they should report to the school office.
• Student should present themselves in their uniform neatly dressed.Personal cleanliness and hygiene are greatly recommended to all.The school uniform is to be worn everyday and for all school functions unless instructed.
• Students must respect school property and the property of others.No students should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others.Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or the Principal.Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
• The school is not responsible for goods lost.It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (fountain pens or mobiles) to school.
• Students shall bring only vegetarian lunch with them.Consumption of non-vegetarian food is prohibited within the campus.
• Boys shall ensure that their hair is trimmed short at regular intervals.Girls shall plait their hair neatly into two halves with a black coloured ribbon or rubber band.Finger and toe nails shall be trimmed.
• Students should be polite with everyone.They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.They should greet their teachers whenever and wherever they meet them.
• Students must refrain from bullying and using foul language.
• The School reserves the right to take disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is objectionable.
• Parents and Guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classroom without the permission of the authorities.
• In case of emergency, parents should personally come and pick up their wards after submission of a written request note.
• The observance of rules of discipline ofthe school and good behavior is an essential condition for a student's continuance in the school. In case a student violates the school rules, indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action will be taken by the school authorities.
• Observance of school rules, decent conduct and behavior is also expected from the parents or guardians of the children. Misconduct or indecent behavior on part of the parents and guardians with the school staff shall not be tolerated. In any such case the school reserves the right to take strict action.
Rules :
• Parents are expected to make sure that their wards are in proper uniform.
• The school i-card is to be worn everyday.
• It is mandatory to wear prescribed black shoes. (No other shoes allowed)
• It is compulsory for the boys to wear white vests and the girls to wear white slips.
• It is suggested that students wear a white cap during the games period
• Non-sikh Boys hair should be short & girls should tie their hair neatly in plaits if long.
• It is mandatory to attach name labels to all items of uniform such as caps, blazers etc. to prevent loss.
• If the student is not in proper uniform, or if hair is not cut short, parents will be asked to come to school a
take the child home.
• Students are not permitted to wear fancy colourful earings, Friendship bands etc, paint nails to school,
sport a fancy hair style.
• Chewing gum' is not allowed in the school premises.
